Gholamreza Malekan
Born: 1967, Tehran (Tehran-e No district)
I began my athletic journey at the age of seven under the guidance of my late father, a renowned wrestler and champion associated with the esteemed Dar ul-Funun Club. I subsequently trained in Kung Fu under the late Reza Aghiri and Haj Ahmad Barati, and later studied Jeet Kune Do under the Grand Master Seyed Nematollah Mirsaid Ghazi. Alongside these disciplines, I acquired expertise in Boxing, Yoga, Pilates, and traditional Iranian local games, which I have also instructed.
A significant achievement came in 2024, when I successfully registered the World Jeet Kune Do Organization with two reputable international confederations.
I am recognized as a veteran of Wushu and the most active Jeet Kune Do instructor in Iran and the Middle East.
My contributions have been acknowledged with hundreds of letters of appreciation and certificates from various federations, universities, the Tehran Municipality Sports Organization, and dozens of other institutions. I have also conducted numerous workshop classes.
