Landmark Refereeing Course for Lethwei Thaing Bando Held in Tehran
Tehran hosted a landmark inaugural refereeing course for Lethwei Thaing Bando on September 26, 2025, with over 90 participants.
The head of Iran’s Thaing Bando style, Mr. Mehrdad YarAhmadi, hailed the event as a “turning point” for the sport’s development in the country. Official appointments were made to the Referees Committee, headed by Master Mohammad Bahram Jodari, who also led the instruction.
The high turnout underscores a significant step towards standardizing and promoting this martial art nationally.
