Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, Ali Motamed was a keen football player. The thought of another sport hadn’t even crossed his mind, until he was invited by a friend to watch his Muay Thai bout. He says, “I went there, and after watching one fight I knew this is what I wanted to do!”

It’s amazing to think he hadn’t even thrown a punch until 6 years ago, especially given the level of ability. Currently signed to One Warrior Series (ONE Championship) Ali is an exciting prospect and certainly one to watch.

He is well known for his incredible array of striking, excellent balance which at times is simply poetic, creativity and kind nature.
